Josiah Northrup was born 28 May 1759 in Ridgefield, Fairfield Co., Connecticut, the son of Aaron Northrup and Rebecca Hyatt. Josiah was married 31 Aug 1779 to Rebecca Olmstead; Milford, New Haven, Ct. They had at least one known child.
Rebecca Olmstead was born 22 Sep 1761 in Ridgefield, Fairfield, Ct. She died 15 Dec 1843. She was the daughter of Daniel Olmstead and Elizabeth Northrop.
