Northup Some information that I have about him: b. 1755 CT d. 15 Mar 1819 Otsego County, NY m. 22 Jan 1777 Phebe Brown (b. 1753; d. 13 Apr 1818 Otsego County, NY) Children: Emmanuel b. 1777 Josiah b. 12 Apr 1779 Daniel b. 1781 Henry b. 1783 Penelope b. 1785 Benjamin b. 1787 Lois b. 1789 !1790: He was a Baptist minister who moved from Connecticut to Stephentown, Rensselaer County, NY. !1794: Moved from Rensselaer County to Otego, Otsego County, NY; he ran a farm for expenses and preached in school houses, private houses, etc. He travelled by horseback in getting to and from place to place. !1819: Cause of death was gravel (kidney) stones.
