It is the mission of the Circle of Wisdom to provide the Pagan community with resources to promote and enhance education and unity both on and off-line.  The C.O.W. will use all available resources to assist in the fight for religious rights and tolerance, while protecting the privacy of its members and affiliates.
 

ABOUT THE CIRCLE OF WISDOM:

The Circle of Wisdom is an organization dedicated to the education and unity of the Pagan community both on and off-line.  The C.O.W. was founded on April 4th, 1998 by Nowan Mandrake after years of hearing and reading about the many cases of religious discrimination towards Pagans.  Nowan decided to do try and help.  After a bit of research into a variety of religious rights groups, Nowan came to the conclusion that there are not enough organizations that work together.  There are so many groups, yet so few connections between them!  So much could be accomplished if the community would unite.

The concept behind the Circle of Wisdom is simple.  Education increases one's ability to perform in any aspect of life.  Through education and networking, we hope that the Pagan community will grow closer.  If enough groups band together and each does it's part for the good of the whole, the Pagan community would have a powerful resource in dealing with legislation and public awareness.  There is strength in both numbers and diversity.
