Clarence Kleinhans died peacefully at home in Woodland Thursday, Jan. 8, 2004, at the age of 71.
Born June 29, 1932, in Seattle, Washington, Clarence had been a Yolo County resident for 30 years. 
Clarence was a Korean War veteran. He was a man of many talents and interests. His greatest love was that of flying. 
He learned to fly while in the U.S. Marine Corp. 
For the greater part of his life, Clarence was a pilot, flying for Frontier Airlines, self employed flying skydivers, and for D.E.A. 
Other occupations included salesman and security agent from which he retired.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Rebecca Kleinhans of Woodland; son, Mathew Kleinhans of Woodland; 
daughter, Michelle Kleinhans of Sacramento; daughter, Jacqi Drake of Paradise; son, Kevin Porter and his wife Susan of Victorville; 
son, Cary Porter and his wife Helen of Danville; grandchildren, Michelle Drake of Paradise, Bryce and Rayna Porter of Danville. 
He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Kleinhans of Lapush, Washington; 
mother, Connie Stacy; and sister, Joyce Ward, both of Yakima, Washington.
The family requests memorials be directed to American Cancer Society, 1599 Clifton Road, NE, Atlanta, Ga., 30329-4251; 
or to Christopher Reeve Paralysis Foundation, 500 Morris Ave., Springfield, N.J., 07081. 
Arrangements are under the direction of McNary's Chapel of Woodland.
A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at McNary's Chapel. 
The graveside service is scheduled for July at the Loyalton Cemetery.

I have been unable to find much info on him.
Frontier, as you may know, went bankrupt in 1986.

Thanks for the reply.  I am sad to say, I don't know much about my dad prior to 1972.  
He married my mom in 1974 and I was born in 77.  
I do know that you won't find anything on a Dave Kleinhans, he went by the last name Miller (stepfathers name).  
I am not sure what years he worked.  Any info you find, I would be interested in.
