A tribute by Bonnie Dahl at Diane Hall's funeral on March 14, 2006 Today I came to say Goodbye to my good friend Diane, She was like a Sister to me. We’ve known each other for 40 years, worked side by side, laughed side by side, chased the guys, even fell in Love with them. We worked hard, but we never followed the rules, got away with everything we could, stirred up as much trouble as we could, and still pretended to be angels. Diane was tiny, cute and petite, and she like to put my uniform on or my boots on and walk around on the airplane and make people laugh. They would say you sure have big feet for a little girl, she really got a kick out that and so did they. We used to greet people on the airplane using the old Indian phrase she learned from Julie, Hi, how are you, hi, how are you. We would sit in the back of the airplane on the jumpseat, these pilots making wild assed approaches and she would say lean to the right, lean to the left, but we always made it. It’s going to be a lot quieter along the Rockies, but it won’t be as much fun and the Broncos and the Rockies and the Cubbies have lost a big fan, and I have lost my good buddy. I love you Diane and I will miss you. Bonz
