Red Road Journey
Eagle said to deer, let us see what is on the other side of mountain. A lost flower was by herself until one day two stangers came. First stranger said, why are you so sad. Flower said, I was once among my people and now they are gone. Who are you?, said the flower to the first stranger. My name is deer. Second stranger said, my name is eagle. Deer look into eagle eyes and knew what his thoughts were. Eagle said to the flower come with us, you will be happy on our home land, flower agreed to go. As they journey down the long red road, they came upon eagle and deer home land. Eagle & Deer said to the flower, this is your home now, where there is love, peace, harmony. Eagle said to the flower, but first I will give you a name, and deer shook her head up and down in saying agreed. Flower said to the eagle and deer, I am honor and proud that you gave me a name. Eagle change into a handsome warrior and deer became a beautiful person with love understanding. Flower became a human being with more lover that will never go away. Flower look at eagle, you are sad, what is wrong? I am sad, said eagle, and I miss my family. Flower comfort eagle, do not worry no more for you have us. Eagle said to the flower, I give you this gift of protection, and the flower said, I give you a gift that will protect you, my brother and my sister. As time went by, eagle said Iand deer must journey to find another place to live, do not worry for you will see a sign of my return.

Great Spirit give heart to understand... that to destroy the earth music is to create confusion.. that to weak her appearence is to blind us to beauty... that to callously pollute her fragrance is to make a house of stench... that as we care for her. she will make care for us we have forgotten who we are. We have sought only our own security.. we have exploited simply for our own ends.. we have destorted our own knowledge... we have abused our power... Great Spirit whose dry land thirst. help us to find a the way to refresh your lands.. Great spirit whose water are choked with debris & pollution. help us to find the way to clense your waters.. Great Spirit whose beautiful earth grows ugly with misuse. help us to find the way to restore beauty to your handiwork.. Great Spirit whose creatures are being destroyed help us find a way to replenish them.. Great Spirit whose gifts to us are being lost in selfishness & corruption. help us to find the way to restore our humanity. this we pray to the 4 winds help us to find ourselves once again...
