Known as the 'Little Master', Hanif Mohammad was the greatest of a
long line of Mohammad brothers who went on to represent Pakistan.
Making his Test Debut against India at Delhi, Hanif went to become
one of the finest bastman in Pakistan Cricket History. Known for
his technique and concentration, Hanif stood out as for his temperament
and went on to score the first triple century by a Pakistani in Test
Cricket, when he made a mammoth 337. Named the Wisden Cricketer of
the year in 1968, Hanif retired from International cricket in 1969.
His son, Shoaib went on to play for Pakistan and showed the same
concentration and temperament that was found in his father. Today,
Hanif holds a senior position at Pakistan International Airlines,
and serves as a regualr commentator, during Home Series matches in
Pakistan.
