SS Dolphin IV - Canaveral Cruise Line

The Dolphin was built in Germany as war reparations in 1956 for Israel as the Zion. She subsequently sailed as Amelia De Melo and Ithaca. She became the Dolphin when she was transferred to Dolphin Cruises, and retained the name through her most recent sale to Canaveral.

Dolphin IV is 13,000 tons. 501 feet long. 65.1 feet wide with a 27.5 foot draft. She is registered in the Bahamas and has Greek Officers and an International crew. Propulsion is supplied by steam turbines.
