Alright, so it's been almost a month since I wrote in this diary! But there's been absolutely NOTHING happening. Waves go up, waves go down, waves go up, waves go down. Where's the sense in recording that?
Anyway, almost six weeks down the line, things are FINALLY moving along again! I swear, if it hadn't been for being able to see right down to the bottom of the ocean, I wouldn't have thought we were moving. Puck's seen Abenir on the horizon. It'll probably take us another day or two to get there but at least we know where 'there' is now.
I had a slight talk with Acheron today. According to Christine, Ax is, shall we say, somewhat less than human (or more, I suppose, depending on your point of view). I'm not entirely sure how serious she was. I found out today that Acheron eats raw meat, which was pretty disgusting (although I eat sushi, aka raw fish, so perhaps I shouldn't comment). She showed me a fistful of gold coins, enough to pretty much buy your own private island back on Earth! It's no wonder Vaughan wants to start mining here. This place is loaded!
