Jeez. If it's not one thing, it's another. It turns out that Rainiri is under some weird kind of hypnotic spell (I'm guessing Kerstine conveniently 'forgot' to mention this to us before we arrived). A weird kind of hypnotic spell from someone called Cardinal, or so Toni claims. Sheesh...
