Okay. Not only is there vegetation on this world, there's civilisation as well. And I finally managed to get something to eat (the first meal I've had in almost a week! I didn't realise it had been so long until I stopped to think). I wonder if I could take some of these recipes home with me.
Some good news-Christine and Ducky are both alive and well (actually, Ducky's nursing a broken arm, apparently, but it could have been worse) That just leaves Cara. Finding her will have to wait until I know a little more of the language etc.
I have to say, this city is truly amazing. From the outside, I'd be prepared to swear it was part of the forest and now I discover it's a city that's been there for a couple of hundred years, according to Christine.
History will have to wait. For now, I'm having language lessons with Demi (her full name's supposedly Dmiika but everyone tends to shorten it)
Hey! No problem with that-the language is tough enough already. So far all I can do is introduce a person and tell them they're sexy (I cannot BELIEVE Ducky actually asked Demi how to say that!!!)
