Reltskan stops after you've been diving for about ten minutes. To your surprise, you find you can breathe quite comfortably holding onto Lapis' tail.

He extricates a large leaf and holds it up. You study it curiously.
"This is the best map of the Salrind Lands we have," Reltskan tells you. "I probably need to explain a little more. The Salrinds are nomadic creatures with a very strict class structure. Reds live with reds, golds with golds, etc. When one reaches a certain age, he or she is encouraged to leave and go elsewhere by using the portals-which incidentally is the only place you can offer Salrinds a space from. The problem is finding somewhere else. That's why they came here; we're hoping that people will offer them a place to live. Where would you like to go?"

Perdorit Village-Home of the green Salrinds, lowest ranking.
Portals-Houses those responsible for taking care of the portals, which is the place to go if you want to offer a home to any Salrind, the 'misc' Salrinds. These don't have any rank.
