Dooagh Pipe Band Plaque

Welcome to the home page of Dooagh Pipe Band, the first Irish pipe band on the web (since February 1997)! Hopefully, you will find something of value here whether you are interested in piping, Dooagh, Achill or traditional Irish culture.

St. Patrick's Day (March 17) 2000 will certainly be a major event in the calendar of the band over the next few years. The fact that Saint Patrick's Day is on a Friday will herald a weekend of celebration for the band into the new millennium. Just make sure you don't miss out!

Chatting at the church

A Message Board is a new feature to provide a forum for discussion on the band itself, general bagpiping issues, Irish culture and Achill issues. Please feel free to post a request on any of these issues or help someone out with an answer to a query. Chat room provided by Beseen.com

On the other hand the Guest book is for anyone who wants to leave greetings. Click here if you want to read existing greetings. Guest book provided by Guestbook byLpage

Marching in the rain

The Gallery features photos from previous St. Patrick's Day parades (1993, 1997, 1998 & 1999) at the moment. It is hoped to get possession of more photos from previous years for display.

If you want to make an enquiry about the band itself, please use the contact page for more information. Any suggestions for improvements to the web page are welcomed by email to paulmcnamara@yahoo.com.
