However there is one major difference! Ceramic paints use micro-sized ceramic particles (borosilicate). They are very unique, they reflect heat like aluminum foil. Secondly they disapate heat, like a dark cast-iron radiator. You can actually hold a cigarette lighter under a metal strip coated with a ceramic filled paint and touch the top of the metal strip without getting burned!
