Traveling can be...

Alymath> Alymath's Ledge

Alymath> An older ledge, this one, and smaller. The fit is tight for the bigger bronzes, and don't even /think/ of trying to squeeze a queen on here. Size seems to be no object for this weyr's occupant, but a good view of the bowl sure is; one can see any action unfolding below, the ground not far away at all. Smooth-worn stone is gouged deep with claw marks, telling the Turns of a ledge now occupied by some of the weyr's youngest.

Alymath> Sitting right above the living caverns, the delicious smells of food waft in at all times of the day.

Alymath> It is a winter sunset. Rukbat sets in a blaze of color, playing off the edge of the approaching front to the north. The air has begun to cool, and you can tell that if the front keeps approaching like it is, it will be bitterly cold by tonight.

Alymath> Lis is here.

Alymath> Obvious exits:

Alymath> Weyr Fly

Alymath> Lis uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Alymath> Above the Bowl

Alymath> The ocean's tranquil thermals settle within the center section of the bowl's airspace, unusually smooth and bouyant -- though oft to switch as the seasons shift. Lingering beneath spires' constant presence, the perpetual activity of the weyr can be observed from every direction: from the testing rustle of dragonet wings, to the playful games sent aloft.

Alymath> It is a winter sunset.

Alymath> Lis envisions Above Gar for you.

Alymath> Alymath winks her silver'd green self ::between::, leaving empty sky in her place.

Alymath> :::BETWEEN!:::

Alymath> You hang, senseless, in the dark nothingness of ::between::... absolute darkness surrounds you, and the profound cold stings you... you wait, and count...

Alymath> Black...

Alymath> Blacker...

Alymath> Blackest...

Alymath> Above Gar

Alymath> You soar high above the grassy plains of Gar. From here you can see the hold itself, nestled in the outcrop of a cliff face, and vast fields of farmland and grazing lands. Herds of horses and cattle roam the fields, under the watchful eye of Gar herders.

Alymath> It is a winter sunset.

Alymath> In the courtyard below, you see Bezath and one person.

Alymath> Obvious exits:

Alymath> Courtyard Central Ista Orchard Crossroads

Alymath> Alymath turns a patch of sky platinum green as she appears from ::between::.

Alymath> You glide down for a landing.

Alymath glides in from above, and lands.

A small wing of dragons - only 5 or so - land behind Alymath, rustling their wings as the touch the ground. "Hey, Keris, did you need some riders?" Lis calls from atop her green.

Keris waves wildly, stopping in respectful distance from the dragons. "Lis! We're so glad you could come! Yeah, the others'll be here shortly," StarCrafter calls out, grinning up at his 'rider friend. "How are y'all?"

Etain walks in.

Etain walks in, the sack she always carries is, for once, semi=full.

Calais walks in.

Libby walks in.

Nyx idly wanders in from the Gar Hold Entry Hall.

Tatoria walks in from the Gar Hold Entry Hall.

Zlantine blinks in from ::between::!

Shava walks in from the Gar Hold Entry Hall.

Etteloc walks in from the Gar Hold Entry Hall.

Nyx jogs in a bit and then looks around... waaait...

Dopey blinks in from ::between::!

Liassa walks slowly in from the Gar Hold Entry Hall.

Tatoria skids to a halt, her grin so wide that it threatens to spill off her face. Oh my....

Libby calls to Zlantine, who flies over and lands on her shoulder.

Calais plops on the ground, "Where are they Cipri?"

Nyx looks around blandly. "Someone shouted for me to run... they said the dragons were already leaving..." A pause.

Gildal walks in from the Gar Hold Entry Hall.

Dopey suddenly disappears ::between::!

Shava dashes into the courtyard, pack flying about behind her. She stops around the fringes of the group, not running into them, practically out of breath. "Wow, didn't think I could get here that fast."

B'rad waves cheerfully from atop his green, Janeth. Sure, he might not know any crafters, but he looks like the friendly sort. Janeth rustles her wings impatiently, ready to leave any minute.

Cipri turns to Calais, after looking at the rather large group already assembled. "Where are what, the dragons?" He looks at the two huge bodys sitting on top of the hold.

Calais shakes his head, "No... The others... but they're here now."

Nyx couldn't resist and waves broadly back to the waving dragonrider.

Liassa walks out of the hold, carefully holding a nice heavy bag over her shoulder. If she's going to Paradise, she's going properly.

Keris sends Lis another grin before dashing towards Liassa. "Need any help, Liassa?" Aww, curteous, isn't he?"

Edrythe walks in.

Etain looks around and didn't realize that there were this many people at the hall. She recognizes some of the riders and waves to them.

Edrythe dashes in, carrying a big bag and trying to pull her messy hair out of the way. "I'm here! Am I late?", she asks breathlessly.

F'reud smirks happily at all the massing crafters, checking out any cute ones that happen to walk by. His mount, Sigmunth, stands still as a lump of sky blue, ready for passengers.

Alymath slowly moves her head around, trying to give all the Crafters a look. She succeeds too, seeing as there aren't that many and they're moving so slowly. A low croon is heard from the green, getting louder as Sigmunth moves. Croon.

Liassa sends a nice bright smile Keris' way as she nods, "Oh, if you'd only be so kind. I've got all these things in this bag here, and I'm afraid I'll brake one of these shar-" she stops before she swears and starts over again, "Before I break one of my nails. I just painted them a pale pink for the trip, you see..."

Tatoria grips her pack tightly, her knuckles turning white as she glances at the dragons gathered in the courtyard. "We're really going on /them/?" She breathes to no one in particular.

Nyx pads over to the nearest person that she knows. This can be most anyone, really. "This should be interesting."

Calais laughs slightly, and jumps from his seat, "Let's go!"

Gildal may be old, but his eyes may tell it all as the bob along, shielded by a hand to the sunset. His eyes lazily flow from one person to the next and from his mouth are the few words he dares to speak at this moment; "Ahhh, sunset..."

Libby walks along and up to Calais, the only crafter she recognizeds as she walks down, smiling all the way.

Shava waits in line, letting those who got here before you go first. She'll get to Paradise soon, all she has to do is wait.

Keris nods, trying to look understanding. "Ahh, I see," he mumbles, giving Liassa a wink as he takes her bag. "Oof, how much did you pa... err, nevermind." Back to Alymath he goes, flashing Lis a grin. "I'll go with you, if Al... Ali... Alymath doesn't mind!"

Tatoria blinks suddenly, inching through the gathering in hopes of getting a bit closer. She loops the pack over her shoulder, rather glad now that she didn't pack much.

Between sharp, moonlight-silvered 'ridges, Lis chuckles first at Liassa, then Keris. "Yeah, c'mon up, Keris! I can take a few more, and so can the other riders. Just watch out for F'reud." A loud chuckle comes from the other riders, except for F'reud himself who shouts: "Hey!"

Liassa smiles sweetly at Keris, adjusting her skirt as she steps closer to the green, "And you're Alymath?" She follows Keris closely, as anyone can see, and to Lis, she says. "She's a beautiful dragon, she really is!"

Etain hears them all talk to Lis, she remembers her friend's stories of Lis's recent, adventure.

Keris chuckles and sends Liassa a wink. "If I remember her name right..." He never does. "Need help mounting her, Liassa?" he asks politely, holding out a hand for the Master.

Edrythe looks around, asking nobody in particular. "Where should I go?"

Calais shoulders his pack... but stands still, knowing he'll get on sometime.

Libby notices Etain, and waves as she waits

Liassa looks up at what she considers a large green, then turns to the journeyman with her blue eyes as wide as she can make them and nods, "Oh, if you would. I don't think I could /ever/ get up there on my own!"

Etain uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Keris smirks, and takes the magenta straps in his hands. "Just use these to pull yourself up, and I*ll make sure you don't fall down..."

Libby uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Tatoria does her best to still her anxious feet and hide her excitment, though one look at her face would give it away to anyone even half-way observant. She follows the others quickly, certainly not willing to be left behind.

Edrythe looks up, hoists her bag over one shoulder, and, with a wide grin, begins to climb up, refusing to look to anybody for help.

Edrythe uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Nyx idly slides up to the dragon and waits her turn.

Tatoria uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Calais yawns and stretches. "Who's next?"

Nyx bows and gestures for Calais to proceed her. Anyone else too, for that matter.

Liassa nods and, one hand gathering her skirts, reaches up for the straps. Unable to hold them in her dainty grasp, she uses her other hand as well, forgetting of course that she's also holding her skirts. She begins to pull herself up, but off-balances and begins to slip.

Between sharp, moonlight-silvered 'ridges, Lis sighs discreetly. "Well, really now..." she mutters to herself, watching Liassa's efforts. "Need some help?" she offers to the Starcraft master.

"So Lis, how's life at the we... ungh!" Keris starts to talk, then stops, panic marring his face as Liassa starts to slide. What to do?? Oh, yes... "Uhm, I got you, Master..." Right on the butt it seems. "Just, pull and I'll, err, push."

Calais snickers..maybe a little too loud.

Alymath rumbles, craning her neck to watch the woman doing acrobatics on her shoulder. How peculiar indeed.

Liassa really isn't used to mounting dragons and the push is gratefully accepted as she finally climbs up, "Thank you so much Keris! That was too nice of you!" She calls down meanwhile adjusting her skirts for the flight.

Cipri waves down at the few crafters still left on the courtyard. "Common, hurry, paradise is waiting!" Who would've thought that, to meet a long lost friend after 10 turns on this courtyard. "There's still room here, isn't there, Talipor, I mean, T'lip. I'm sure Nethlanth can take another few appies, wouldn't he?" After not more then a split second, the rider nods, "Sure, get all on, he can have it!"

Between sharp, moonlight-silvered 'ridges, Tatoria cranes her neck, eager, as always, to catch a bit of whatever's going on. Her mouth drops open, then curves into a grin as she watches Liassa's struggles. The apprentice quickly dips her head to hide the smile and avoid any sort of reprimand for her soft laugh.

Calais waves to Cip, "I'll ride the one you're on!"

Keris grins wryly, waving over the few remaining Apprentices. "Come on, then, you lot. Let's not keep Cipri waiting."

Using a twiggy forelimb, you manage to get yourself up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Alymath [Gar Hold CourtYard]

The materialistic sparkle of vibrant emerald adorns the finely tapered muzzle to the point of saturation, before pouring in diluted jade against the understated arch and subtle crescendo of her neck. Like moonlight filtered through viridian, spaded leaves, silver's tapped touch airbrushes the arpeggio of sharp 'ridges, an ethereal breath across otherwise earthly, moss-touched spine. A roseate blush spreads faintly across lanky torso, a would-be gaudy pink acting as filler in places where jade fails to perform. Haze's vaporous movements end in scintillating mica rays which variate wildly over open-angled, sleek haunches. A coda of green, frosted with champagne's golden rush, twirls into a loopy tail and ends with a flash fanfare of verdant sage.

Ripe melon red are Alymath's straps, fuscia dominating with a vengance over magentas and berries. Thousands of tiny stitches, each one blooming a trace of rose, march around the leathers that encircle Alymath's last ridges with sturdy industry embodied by their seamstress.

Between sharp, moonlight-silvered 'ridges, are Lis, Libby, Edrythe, and Tatoria.

Alymath is also carrying Liassa.

Alymath seems to be listening.

Shouldering his pack, Calais scuttles over to Nethlanth and climbs up.

Nyx uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Cipri gestures for Calais to climb on. "Just grab that, and that, and sit down there, lotsa room left!"

Gildal uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Lilinia walks in.

Nyx follows the rest and gets aboard upon the dragon as best as she could.

"Lilinia, common, stop stalling, get your rear in gear and mount Nethlanth already! WE're leaving", Cipri yells at his 2nd mentee.

Etteloc uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Cipri uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Lilinia looks up and stares a moment, but climbs up, "Coming!"

Lilinia uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Tatoria doesn't bother to hide her grin this time as she stares down at Lili and watches her mount with more than a little ammusement.

Shava uses a twiggy forelimb to climb up onto Alymath's silver-brushed neck.

Alymath crouches, then leaps upwards.

Lilinia blinks several times before realizing she's on the back of a dragon... "Oh my."

Edrythe hugs herself, grinning hugely. "This is so exciting," she whispers to herself, giggling a little.

From Nyx's shoulder, Aoi wraps his tail around Nyx's neck and holds on as best as he could...

Calais pats Lili on the back, "Great huh?!"

Lis calls back over her shoulder at her passengers as the other riders do the same. "Everyone ready to between?" This questio is asked several times over, by the various riders and their passengers.

Lilinia turns to Calais and blinks. "All I have to say is Wow."

Keris cranes his neck to watch the Apprentices behind him. "Ready, y'all?"

Lilinia smiles and nods, "Yeah..."

Nyx looks blandly back at Keris, not trusting herself to answer.

Edrythe continues to smile, and nods excitedly, her eyes shining.

Calais gives a thumbs up to T'lip and Cipri from the dragon he was on.

Tatoria grips whatever she can as she blinks, working up the courage to glance downward. Her breath is drawn in suddenly as she does. "Wow," is breathed as she studies the landscape, then glances forward to catch the question being mumured. "Between?"

Keris chuckles slightly. "Don't worry. It'll only take a few moments between. right, Lis?"

Liassa nods to Lis as she wraps her arms around Keris' waist in preparation for the lift off. "I really don't like this part..." She mutters, looking nervously down at the ground.

Edrythe leans over the edge for one last look at the gorgeous view.

Cipri gives a final wave at the other dragons taht hang there on formation next to Nethlanth, and to the apprentices opn them. "Here we go!", he yells, hyper for some reason.

Shava nods, smiling, having done this before, once.

Keris pats Liassa's hands around his waist. Ooh. "Don't worry, Master... alright Lis, we're ready!"

"Of course," Lis replies to Keris, with a smile. Ooh, that Liassa... Well, Lis is above that petty flirting stuff. Mostly.

Alymath gives a soothing croon to her passengers, then, after being given the signal from Lis, moves ::between::.

Alymath winks her silver'd green self ::between::, leaving empty sky in her place.

Above Paradise Island

You soar above the tropical forests of Paradise Island. Just below, a plateau opens up before the Hold itself, and the grassy meadow is wide enough for many dragons to land. To the north of the plateau is the beach and cove, and beyond it, ocean. You can see the mainland from here, a distant purple outline on the ocean horizon to the north and east.

It is a winter sunset.

As you look around, inhaling the tangy, fresh smells of the sea, and the sweet, delicous smells coming from the gardens, you smile. Rolling waves crash upon the beach, with a rythmic lulling sound. Shutting your eyes for a moment, you sit in the sweet tranquility. The noises of the dolphins and fishermen at the pier, and the noises of daily hold business calling from within drags you back to reality. The noises of work and industry are muted, not as rushed as those of other holds.

Nyx gasps after the Betweening, really not trusting herself to speak after that. "..."

Calais whispers, "Wow."

Tatoria breathes again, glancing downward as if to confirm that her legs are still attatched. Everything where it should be? She loosens her grip just slightly as she forces smooth, even breaths. Wow? Doesn't even come close.

Lilinia swallows, making sure she is still alive, then looks around at her fellow StarCrafters. "Whoa."

Edrythe smiles, looking around. "That was /great/!" She pauses. "Except maybe the Between part."

"Well... here's paradise!" One bright-pink glove of Lis' gestures towards the ground below. "We're landing now, so hold on!"

Nyx still manages to breathe, still not trusting herself to speak, taking in deep breaths...

Shava looks below her and the dragon, to the hold below. She smiles and waits for the dragon to land, to bad it has to end so soon.

Liassa continues to clutch at Keris, not trusting herself not to squeal in fright for one moment. Amazing, for someone that has flown so much she's never gotten used to it.

Cipri "wooh!"'s as he breaks out of the between again, and laughs at his apprentices. "Common, ain't that scary, is it?", he asks, he himself done it a few times before.

Calais shakes his head, "Nope."

Keris tries to get off the dragon, but it isn't really possible right now. "Uhm, Liassa? We're on the ground now. Should we get off?" The dragon, of course. Erk.

Liassa peers around, opening her eyes a bit, "So we are!" She says, almost in surprise, and giggles at herself before ever so slowly releasing her hold.

Down you go! Just mind the sharp dragon-elbow, there.

Liassa tries not to bump 'gainst any sharp joints as he slides down Alymath's forearm.

Cipri tries not to bump 'gainst any sharp joints as he slides down Alymath's forearm.

Nyx tries not to bump 'gainst any sharp joints as she slides down Alymath's forearm.

Libby tries not to bump 'gainst any sharp joints as she slides down Alymath's forearm.

Nyx sides down, just looking a bit shocked at this point. Numb, perhaps?

Calais stretches and beams, "Very neat."

Gildal tries not to bump 'gainst any sharp joints as he slides down Alymath's forearm.

Alymath> Paradise Shallows

Alymath> Shallows that whisper against the sand as the waves roll in slowly barely hinting at the ocean without. The warm silky water abundant as the sun and sea.

Alymath> It is a winter sunset.

Alymath> To the southeast, you see seven people.

Alymath> Half-Moon Cove Pier Beach

Alymath saunters with lanky grace, a hint of gold flashing in her steps, to the crystaline waters.

Liassa holds out an arm to balance herself as she dismounts, wobbling a bit. "I'll never ever get used to taht..."

Keris chuckles openly, reaching out a hand towards Liassa to support her. "Are you alright, Master? And all of you?" he inquires, peering around at the lot. They're all standing at least...

Lilinia walks from the crystal clear waters.

Nyx slides past the flaps that form the door to Female Sleeping Tent

Liassa nods, taking Keris' hand briefly before standing on her own and looking around, "So this is where we stay?"

Lilinia looks around. "Wow..." Lili's vocabulary seems to be limited at the moment... but that's perfectly okay...

Calais smiles over to Lili, "You okay?"

Cipri waves his arms around, trying to get the attention. "Okay, everyone, listen please? If you'd follow me, the beach is that way", he explains pointing Northeast. "Once there, we can set up our stuff, and wait for the second group, okay?"

Keris sends the awed Apprentices a big grin, nodding at Liassa. "Yeah, in the tents... oh, sure Cipri. You been setting up the place, hmm?"

Lilinia looks over at Calais, "What? Yeah... I'm fine... I think."

Calais goes Northeast.

Lilinia goes Northeast.

Cipri goes Northeast.

Gildal goes Northeast.

Libby goes Northeast.

Moonshine Beach

As you move on, the noise from the working people and dolphins fades into a distant background rumble. Though the sounds of the ocean; the waves crashing the beach shore, and the smell of salty sea water and sweet flowers from the gardens are still hanging in the air. Beneath your feet the fine, white sand that is said to be the best on Pern, lays hot and still, creating a soft blanket.

It is a winter evening.

You see the sand bags, Male Sleeping Tent, Female Sleeping Tent, and Gildal here.

You notice StarCraft asleep here.

Calais, Lilinia, Cipri, and Libby are here.

Obvious exits:

Southwest

Cipri grins and nods at Keris, "yeah, you don't see much difference, do you?" he chuckles, "I left my room, and spend the last 2 sevendays outside the hall, just so you know", he explains with a wink.

"Now I'm impressed," Keris replies to Cipri, chuckling still.

Cipri grins at Keris, then stops, and addresses the group again. "Okay people, this'll be our home for the next few weeks. There's two tents, one with male, one with Female, I hope y'all know which one's for you". he pauses, and adresses Keris in person, "The male one for you, incase you were wondering"

Calais snickers slightly.

Liassa makes a moue of disappointment as she hears the journeyman's instructions, "Are you sure we have to stay in those assigned tents?" She looks out at the sandy beach, "I think it'd be much nicer to sleep out here..."

Keris sends Cipri a wink and a smirk. "That's alright Cipri, there's an open sky as well." Enough said, plenty to do. Liassa gets a slight nudge on the way as well.

Lilinia bites her lip to stop herself from laughing at Cipri's comment...

Inside Female Sleeping Tent, Libby slides past the flaps that form the door to Female Sleeping Tent

Libby slides past the flaps that form the door to Female Sleeping Tent

Liassa puts her bag down in what she hopes will be a slightly shady area and opens it carefully, looking around first to be not too many people are nearby. Removing a small bottle of wine, she places it on the sand, just out of sight so that she doesn't forget about it.

Lilinia puts one of her hands on her hip and looks out at the water, "This place is simply gorgeous..."

Cipri nods. "That it is. Now why don't y'all go drop off your stuff in the tents, and head for the watter. I've tested it, and it's nice and warm this time of day". Once again he adresses all the apprentices, and raises his voice. "Everyone, go do what you want, we have to wait for the others, and the entire day is off. No. Work!" This last sentence ofcourse, gets greeted by a large amount of cheering.

Lilinia grins and nods, "No problem with that... We should do these kinda things more often..." She turns to go into the tent and change and do whatever Lili does.

Inside Female Sleeping Tent, Lilinia slides past the flaps that form the door to Female Sleeping Tent

Cipri grins and shakes his head at Lilinia. Good thing they got that BBQ there... "What kinda things, Lili?", he yells after here, "Nothing?"

Inside Female Sleeping Tent, Lilinia turns to hear Cipri's voice, "Girl things! Duh! Think Cipri!" She rolls her eyes and laughs.

Inside Female Sleeping Tent, Indrah wakes up.

Calais yawns from his seat in the sand....

Inside Female Sleeping Tent, Indrah steps out of the Female Sleeping Tent

Indrah steps out of the Female Sleeping Tent

Indrah grumbles and shuffles out, batting sand from her tunic. "Whee."

Liassa begins to take off her dress as she wades into the warm water, not worrying about what people say as she finally slips all the way in- wearing nothing. This is the way they swam in Nerat and she sees no reason not to here.

Calais sits on the sands, his eyes growing wide as he sees a Master nude. He knows he should turn, but...

Keris knows he shouldn't turn though, and he doesn't either; instead he kicks off his shoes and follows Liassa out into the water, grinning brightly. "Oh Master, wait up." See, he's trying to get off his pants while wading in the water. Not good. Watch Keris lose his balance and collapse in the water.

Saturnax pops in from ::between::! Chiirp!

Lilinia looks at Keris and Liassa and rolls her eyes. "Oh Faranth... I'm going back to the tent..." She looks at both of them, then looks at her bathing suit. And she thought /she/ was going skimpy...

Inside Female Sleeping Tent, Lilinia slides past the flaps that form the door to Female Sleeping Tent

Lilinia slides past the flaps that form the door to Female Sleeping Tent

Calais breaks his stare, no need to see Keris' white rear. He looks around the beach a bit instead.

Keris **pouts. I'm tanned!

Saturnax *snorts. And...? What difference does that make?

Calais *bah... no need to see your rear anyways.

Cipri *rolls

Keris **has a nice rear... :>

Keris ** Ask Cipri :P

Cipri just shakes his head at Keris' actions. "Should try thinking with his head for once.", he comments softly, only audible on the beach itself, not in the sea. He chuckles. "Enjoyed the view eh, Cal?"

Calais *so do I... but I'm not going to wag it at everyone as I run after a naked master!

Keris **grins. That's the fine difference between Jmen and Appies :P

Saturnax *snorts again.

Calais hmms, "Uh? Which? Certainly not of Keris'...uh...."

Liassa turns and giggles softly as she sees Keris trip, and makes her way closer, "Need any help?" She asks, slightly teasing, "Didn't know people could trip so easily in the water."

Keris coughs, somehow resurfacing. "Erm, I can," he says, though there's really no need to. At least he got out of his tunic and pants. It's too /hot/ here! "But sure, any help is welcome..." Leer.

Liassa **suddenly realizes what all the OOCness is about and gets all fake-embarassed. "Am I that cute?"

Keris **thinks so? :P

Calais *doesn't know... but I'm icly 16 and your /naked/

Liassa **prefers the word 'nude' It sounds so much less crude. :P

Liassa **is a poet and didn't know it!

Keris *prefers.... ehh, nevermind :P

Saturnax *makes no comment....

Liassa gets a look of concern as she wades closer to Keris, still staying in deep enough water not to reveal too much. She's not that stupid to wear absolutely nothing in front of a bunch of apprentices. "You sure? You didn't fall on a rock or anything, did you?"

Calais nods over to Cip, "So... we just filling the sands this week?"

Keris grins slightly and straightens - hey, the water reaches his chest! "I'm sure, I'm sure. Err, no rock," he assures, shaking his head. "I'm as good as normal." Said with a wink. And a leer. And a looking up and down Liassa twice, just in case he missed something the first time. "I like your outfit," is said then, a smirk on the Journeyman's face.

Calais whistles low, bad move? He would think so...

Cipri nods at Calais. "Well, we got 'bout a month here, but we won't be collecting all the time. It gets too hot here in the afternoons, so only in the mornings we work" he grins, "Afternoons for sleep, evenings off. Sounds good enough?"

Calais grins, "Excellent Idea."

Liassa looks down at herself in confusion, "What do you mean? I'm not--" She stops, flushes, and steps back. "You like?" She tries not to giggle, knowing that would be a Bad Thing (tm), and offers a hand to help Keris into the deeper water to swim. That's why they got in, right?

Calais *rolls.

Indrah flops over backwards onto a blanket. "That's it. I'm outta here."

Liassa *baps Calais and stuffs the soap in through his ear to wash his mind. ;P

Of course it is. Keris accepts the hand - he couldn't possibly make it on his own, nope. "Very," he says pointedly, eyes glinting with... something. "Seems like we're the only ones who enjoy a good swim, hmm?"

Calais slides past the flaps that form the door to Male Sleeping Tent

Indrah arrives from the Main Beach.

Indrah slides past the flaps that form the door to Female Sleeping Tent

Or maybe no-one wants to get near them? Cipri shakes his head, and decides to quickly check around the tents, 'fore going back to teh hall, for it's almost time for the second wave of apprentices to arrive.

Liassa looks around at Keris' comment, then shakes her head, "No, there's a journeyman 'way over there swimming." And she points at him, before waving and calling, "Come over here and swim with us!" But, a bit faint, comes the reply, "no, thanks! I'll jsut stay over here away from you!"

Inside Male Sleeping Tent, Calais laughs out loud!

Keris **baps!

Keris grins. "Hey, your loss!" he shouts back to the Journeyman swimming in a safe distance away, ten turns to wink at Liassa. "I'm sure we can make our own fun then..."

Alareise blinks in from ::between::!

Tatoria steps out of the Female Sleeping Tent

Cipri shakes his head a couple of times at Keris and Liassa in the sea, and decides to just lie down on the beach for a while. IN one strange movement he kicks one foot away from under him with his other, and lands in the soft sand, looking around at the many appies running around, nodding here and there.

Liassa begins to wade farther in the water until she begins to float, and then begins to slowly swim towards the deeper water, looking back to invite Keris to follow her.

Tatoria ducks out of the tent, one hand pushing the flap out of the way while the other reaches up to shove at tangled strands of hair. She straightens, glancing around the beach.

Keris is invited, and follows, relaxing as he reaches the deeper water. Ahh, this is life. No work and all play, with a delicious Master even. What more could a humble senior Journeyman ask for? Hmm...

Liassa gets a good distance out and waits for a moment for Keris to catch up before dunking under the water and swimming further out.

Keris can't help but pout as Liassa spoils his, ahh, good view. "Hey, wait up!" The protest is spoken weakly as he decides it's better to act than talk, and soon the Journeyman is closely behind the Master.

Liassa stops suddenly and floats to the surface, waiting. As Keris nears, she sweeps her arm across the water, making a wave to splash him good.

Splutter, cough. Watch an unprepared Keris get water in the head and into the mouth. "Uhh, that wasn't nice!" he exclaims, grinning brightly at Liassa. "I'll have to get back at you for that one!"

Liassa giggles and splashes Keris again, just liek a young apprentice, before ducking back under the water and swimming towards the beach, away from the senior journeyman.

Keris throws himself forward in the water, like a, erm, senior Journeyman smelling.... blood, yeah. Trying to keep up with Liassa he swims towards the beach, hand stretching to get a hold of her... foot, or something.

Cipri gets up, and heads for the main beach, to try and get a ride back to Gar, to pick up the rest.

Cipri goes Southwest.

Tatoria settles herself into the sand, somehow (thankfully) managing to not notice the two swimmers at all. She wriggles a bit, sighing as the sand molds to her form. Now this /is/ Paradise!

Liassa shrieks in laughter and tries to kick her ankle free, floundering in the water. Really. One would never guess that she was a master in the starcraft, the way she's acting. Or maybe one would... "Lemme go! Lemme go!" She cries, laughing as she says it and trying to splash Keris.

"Not until I'm done with you!" Of course, Keris doesn't specify in which way. Ahem. Instead he pulls at Liassa's ankle, splashing her back as good as he can manage with one hand. And he can manage a lot with one hand, really.

Liassa is really oblivious, she is, and is just having fun, writhing in the water and trying to get free of Keris' grasp. "Watch out or-" she stops, trying to keep afloat and looks at her hand. "Now you've done it. I've broken my nail!" She shakes her head sadly, but quickly resumes trying to get away.

"Aww..." He's sympathetic, honestly, he is, but Keris is still smirking widely. "But I am watching out..." Some people call it leering, but well, one can always pretend.

Liassa uh-huhs and waves her hand at Keris, "But look! And I just painted them this afternoon before we left!" She finally kicks free of his grasp and begins to head for shore. "Now I'm going to have to fix it up." She swims slowly, not wanting to rush, but purposely towards the sandy beach, pausing when she gets to the point where she must walk to be sure not too many apprentices are standing around.

"Can I help?" Keris offers. It'll work that way that he'll watch her fix things up, of course, but it sounded nice, no? Journeyman pauses as Liassa does, politely waiting for her to go first. And it'll give him a chance to leer some more.

Liassa shrugs and walks on, the salty water running off her body as she quickly makes her way to her things and a robe she brought. "It's colder than I thought!" She mutters, shivering as she wraps her robe around her to get warm.

Keris has a Problem now, y'see. The pants he so deftly(?) discarded earlier are now... somewhere in the water. Unless they were taken to the beach by a wave... oh yes. There they are. Filled with sand. Eww. "Ack, seems I'll have to get a towel," the Journeyman mutters, trying to get off teh sand by slapping the pants against him as he walks. Good idea. Watch Keris trip and get sand all over the body.

Liassa smiles sweetly at Keris as she watches, sitting down carefully next to her sack and that bottle of Benden white she takes with her everywhere, like a security blanket.

Keris groans and considers just staying there. But the thought of Liassa's, erm, wine is just too tempting. "Hmm, don't suppose a thirsty StarCrafter could pry some juices out of you, hmm?" he inquires, nodding towards the wineskin as he flops down next to Liassa on the sand, using his towel to get off the worst sand.

Liassa hmphs and pulls her file from her bag, "Nope. That wine is mine and no one is allowed to touch it. The head vintner at Benden made it 'specially for me." She begins to file the broken nail carefully, very much oblivious to Keris' actions.

Keris pouts, though it's partly hidden as he bends his head to get sand out of his hair. "Ohh... I'll have to see if anyone else is available around here, then," comes the muffled reply. He means wine, honestly.

Liassa openly pouts, pausing in her careful filing, "Someone else? Y'mean yer going to sit with one of those apprentices?" She turns her head to look at them, her wet hair sending a spray of water around. Not that she doesn't like them. "Maybe I'll give you a taste of it? Just don't make me sit here all alone!" She's pleading, begging, now, having come for only a few reasons, one of them /not/ being to spend quality time with the appies.

Lilara arrives from the Main Beach.

Tamira arrives from the Main Beach.

Keris laughs slightly, leaning back on his elbows. "The Apprentices? Naw, those are forbidden drops..." The wine, of course. "I'd love a taste of yours though," he assures, grinning slyly. "But first I think I'd better get some dry pants to wear." Eww. Sand.

Lynyl arrives from the Main Beach.

Moonn arrives from the Main Beach.

Thalassina arrives from the Main Beach.

Sielle arrives from the Main Beach.

Cipri arrives from the Main Beach.

Cipri calls over to Garak, who lands on his left upperarm.

Lilara throws the pack from her back and pulls off her shoes so she can wiggle her toes in the soft sand. Whoever's idea this was she's very grateful!

Male Sleeping Tent

Two rows of cots line the long walls of the tent, providing a small amount of privacy and living space, for those that are strange enough to stay inside the tents, for outside waits the warm beach, cool water, and starry skies, and ofcourse, a lot of sand.

Asleep in the Male Sleeping Tent is Calais.
