The course is a weekend course and will use two sitse so that Leaders and Venture Scouts can gain experience of different situations. No prior experience is necessary. The courses may be based at one of the four activity training centres, Lyons Copse, Cricket Camp, New Runways End or Ferny Crofts but may also use one of the Hampshire County Council facilities such as Woodmill or Calshott. The director of these courses will hold the SPSA.
This course is intended for people who have some experience of using walls & towers. The course is aimed at the aspirant leader who wishes to supervise groups of young people on Walls and Towers. The course is a weekend course and will use two sites. The courses may be based at one of the four activity training centres, Lyons Copse, Cricket Camp, New Runways End or Ferny Crofts but may also use one of the Hampshire County Council facilities such as Woodmill or Calshott. The Director of this course will hold the SPSA.
This course is intended for people who have undertaken the Walls & Towers training course and have logged experience of using walls & towers. Applications for assessment should be sent to the HSMT administrato). The Assessors on this course are appointed by the County Commissioner and will hold (as a minimum) the SPSA. Note: you will be required to agree and arrange a venue with the assessor and arrange for suitable equipment to be available to run a day session, the number of persons to be assessed may be limited by the assessor, but must not be more than 4:1.
