2 lbs beef tenderloin | 1 1/2 tsp garlic salt |
1/4 cup margarine | 1/3 cup flour |
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained | 2 cups sour cream |
2 cans condensed beef broth | 10 oz uncooked medium noodles |
1/3 cup instant minced onion | 3 Tblsp margarine |
1/4 cup ketchup | |
Cut meat into thin strips. Cook and stir meat and onions in 1/4 cup margarine for 5 minutes. Reserving 2/3 cup of broth, stir in remaining broth, the onion, ketchup and garlic salt. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Blend reserved broth and flour; stir into meat. Add mushrooms; heat to boiling, stirring. Boil and stir 1 minute. Stir in sour cream; heat through. Cook noodles as directed on package; drain. Toss with 3 table- spoons margarine. Serve with stroganoff. |
