Drop Dumplings
1 1/2 cups flour 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/4 tsp baking powder 3/4 cup milk
Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add milk all at once and stir rapidly until well-blended. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto hot stew broth, dipping spoon into hot broth each time to prevent sticking. Cover and boil moderately for 12 minutes. DO NOT UNCOVER. Serve with honey or syrup.
