All this work is a reflection of how I felt at the time of creating the piece. Someone told me once that an artist always draws self-portraits without being aware of it... That is, the artist draws the feelings behind the portrait, and so draws her own feelings."  Johanna Talks about Stevie Nicks:"I first became aware of the music and poetry of Stevie at the age of 16, when I was one day listening to the radio whilst doing some homework for school. A song came on called "Edge of Seventeen" and I was taken by the voice of the lady immediately... The emotion, the passion and the words... My books flew through the air and I have been a fan ever since. Because I had always been drawing and painting, and I was doing several art courses at the time, I tried my hand at drawing Stevie's portrait..."

I have been caught listening to other music besides Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac.(but not too often) I am a hippy at heart, so I tend to really love the late 60's and the 70's. Janis Joplin,Eagles,Tom Petty,Rolling Stones,Elton John,Eric Clapton...I also like Def Leppard and Kiss, but don't spread it around! BR>
