The
Empire State Building
This
is a picture of The Empire State Building at night. The Empire State Building
is located on 5th Avenue, between 33rd and 34th streets. Completed in 1931,standing
at 1250 feet, at that time it was the tallest building in the world.
Designed by the American architectural firm of Shreve, Harmon and Lamb
in a streamlined art deco style, The Empire State Building consists of
102 floors of office space. There are also public viewing observatories
and a radio and televsion mast that was added in 1951. Since its completion
it has become an icon of the American City.
