Hi there outdoor enthusiasts my name is Pookster. I have hunted and fished in Saskatchewan all my life. I live in the northwest section of our Province in what they call the forest fringe area. This terrain includes agricultural land and also heavy timbered areas full of lakes within an hour's drive. My objective on these pages is to not only show and share with you some great outdoor experiences, but, to also introduce you to our Province.

The picture above is of a Whitetail I harvested in 1995. Deer of this quality are common in Saskatchewan. This deer was taken in the Northern Provincial Forest, heavy timbered terrain that holds lots of opportunities for the hunter who wants to get off the beaten path and go for a scenic walk.
