Explorer Ship 5678 is
located in Seward, Alaska. Ship 5678 is sponsored by Kenai
Fjords Tours, Ltd. We
normally use the M/V Alaskan Sunrise, but we do have the option of
using any of the other 8 vessels. The Alaskan Sunrise is a 45 foot
Delta with 2 triple nickel Cummings engines. It's the smallest in the
fleet, but it's a good ship. Our meetings are on the first and third
Monday of every month at 7:00 pm. We usually meet at the Kenai Fjords
Tours Main Office, and then go to our activity from there. We do not
normally meet during the summer months because the company needs the
boats and most of the explorers hold summer jobs.
