"The appointment of Jesus to be the Savior of the world was contested by on of the other sons of God. He was called Lucifer, son of the morning. Haughty, ambitious, and covetous of the power and glory, this spirit-brother of Jesus desparately [sic] tried to become the Savior of mankind."

God's Word teaches that Jesus is God, not the spirit-brother of Lucifer.
He spoke and the universe leaped into existence!(Gen. 1:1) He created man as well as all angelic beings.
Lucifer was God's greatest angel untill he was cast from heaven for claiming to be higher and greater than the Most High.(Ezekiel 28:13-19)and(Isaiah 14:12-16)
"Thou hast been in Eden, the gardens of God; every precious stone
was thy covering, the sardius, topaz and the diamond, the beryl, the onox, and
the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold; the workmanship of thy[timbrels] and of thy [flutes] was prepared in thee in the day
that thou wast created. Thou
art the anointed cherub that covereth, and I have set thee
so; thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast
walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire. Thou
wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found
in thee. By the multitude if thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned; therefore, I will cast thee as profane

In the next Scripture we will see that the Bible does indeed teach that Jesus is God. I will also ask you to consider this,How can Jesus the
creator be the
spirit-brother of Lucifer, his own creation?
"Who is the image of the invisible God, the first born of
all creation; For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible, whether
they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers-all things were created by him , and for him; And he is before all things, and by him all things consist"

"And to make all
men see what
is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages hath been hidden in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ,
To the intent that now, unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places, might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God."
Ephesians 3:9-10 (KJV)
These passages from God's Word teach that the "Word" existed from the beginning of time, and Jesus wasn't a created being he didn't have a beginning or end. In the Bible it says
that "the Word was with God" in other words Jesus was with God, he had a seperate and distinct personality who lived with God. "The Word was God" he not only dwelt with God, but he is God.
In the beginning was the Word, and the word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us and we beheld
his glory, the glory as of the one and only begotton of the Father, full of his grace and truth.
John 1:1,14 (KJV)
In Revelation 1:8 God says "I AM the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."
In Revelation 22:12 Jesus says" And behold, I come quickly, and my reward
is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I Am the Alpha and Omega, the begining and the end, the
first and the last."
In Revelation 1:17-18 "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I an the first and the last; I
am he that liveth, and was dead; and,
behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen, and have the keys of hades and of death."
When did God ever die? Jesus is God!
Now that we have read what the Bible teaches let's take a look at what the Mormon Scripture teaches about Jesus and Satin, it is quite a different Jesus. His deity (He is God) is taken away and he is lowered to the status
of an angel. This is the common practice that most cults use, they lower God and raise up man.
Book of Moses
Satan claims to be the Only Begotten:
1:19 And now, when Moses had said these words, Satan cried with a loud voice, and ranted upon the earth, and commanded, saying: I am the Only Begotten, worship me.
Here Satan offered to be the Savior. How could he do this if he was not a son of that god?
4:1 And I, the Lord God, spake unto Moses, saying: That satan, whom thou hast commanded in the name of mine Only Begotten, is the same which was from the beginning, and he came before me, saying--Behold, here am I, send me,
I will be thy son, and I will redeem all mankind, that one soul shall not be lost, (Satan the good guy? now thats funny) and surely I will do it; wherefore give me thine honor.
4:2 But, behold, my Beloved Son, which was my Beloved and Chosen from the beginning, said unto me, Father, thy will be done, and the glory be thine forever.
4:3 Wherefore, because that Satan rebelled against me, and sought to destroy the agency of man,(I guess he really didn't care for us after all) which I, the Lord God, had given him, and also, that I should give unto him mine
own power od mine Only Begotten, I caused that he should be cast down;
4:4 And he became Satan, yea, even the devil, the father of all lies, to deceive and to blind men, and to lead them captive at his will, even as which I, the Lord God, had made.
4:5 And now the serpent was more subtile than any beast of the field, which I, the Lord God, had made.
Here we read that Eve was happy that they have sinned, and they also loved satan!, and we also see that Adan is also the Only Begotten as well as Satan
5:9 And in that day the holy Ghost fell upon Adam, which beareth record of the Father and the Son, saying: I am the Only Begotten of the Father from the begining, henceforth and forever, that as thou hast fallen thou mayest be redeemed,
and all mankind, even as many as will.
5:10 And in that day Adam blessed God and was filled, and began to prophesy concerning all the families of the earth, saying: Blessed be the name of the God, for because of my transgression my eyes are opened, and in this life I shall have joy, and again in the flesh I shall see God.
5:11 And Eve, his wife, heard all these things and was glad, saying: were it not for our transgression we never should have seed, and never should have known good and evil, and the joy of our redemption, and eternal life which God giveth all the obedient.
5:12 And Adam and Eve blessed the name of God, and they made all things known unto their sons and their daughters.
5:13 And Satan came among them, saying: I am also a son of God; and he commanded them, saying: Believe it not; and they believed it not; and
they loved Satan more than God. And men began from that time forth to be carnal,
sensual, and devilish.
Was Joseph Smith A True Prophet Of GOD???
Was Joseph Smith a true prophet of God? The Bible says that "All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training up in righteousness." 2 Timothy 3:16. In 1 John 4:2 we read "Beloved, believe not every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are of God; because many false propets are gone out into the world." With these Scriptures in mind lets look at the teaching or prophecies made by Joseph Smith and see if they pass the test of the Bible, remember also it says in Deuteronomy 18:23 "But the prophet, who shall presume to speak a word in my name, which I have not commanded him to speak, or who shall speak in the name of other gods, even that prophet shall die. 22 And if thou say in thine heart, How shall we know the word which the LORD hath not spoken? 23 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord, if the thing follows not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously; thou shalt not be afraid of him." The Bible says a prophet of the Lord MUST be 100% correct! Not part of the time, not some of the time. But ALL of time! If he is wrong just
ONE time he is a FALSE PROPHET. Joseph Smith was wrong a bunch of times.
Here are a few of the prophecies made by Joseph Smith that have not come to pass. If these things are wrong how can you trust anything that he has said in the name of the Lord?
Revelation Given Through Joseph Smith
"For his word (Joseph's) ye shall receive, as if from mine own mouth, in all patience and faith."
(Doctrine and Covenants 21:5)
September 22 and 23, 1832:
"A revelation of Jesus Christ unto his servant Joseph Smith, Jun., and six elders, as they united their hearts and lifted their voices on high. Yea, the word of the Lord concerning his church, establishied in the last days for the restoration of his people, as he has spoken by the mouth of his prophets, and for the gathering of his saints to stand upon Mount Zion, which shall be the city of New Jerusalem.
Which city shall be built, beginning at the temple lot, which is appointed by the finger of the Lord, in the western bounderies of the State of Missouri, and dedicated by the hand of Joseph Smith, Jun., and others with whom the Lord was well pleased.
Verily this is the word of the Lord, that the city New Jerusalem shall be built by the gathering of the saints, begining at this place, even the place of the temple, which shall be reared in this generation.
For verily this generation shall not all pass away untill an house shall be built unto the Lord, and a cloud shall rest upon it, which cloud shall be even the glory of the Lord, which shall fill the house."

February 14, 1835:
"President Smith then stated that the meeting had been called, because God had commanded it; and it was made known to him by a vision and by the Holy Sprit. He then gave a relation of some of
the circumstances attending us while journeying to Zion--our trials, sufferings; and said God had not designed all this for nothing, but He had it in remembrance yet; and it was the will of God that those
who went to Zion, with determination to lay down their lives, if necessary, should be ordained to the ministry, and go forth to prune the vineyard for the last time, or the coming of the Lord, which was
nigh--even fifty-six years should wind up the scene"
(History of the Church Vol. 2, p. 182)
December 25, 1832:
"Verily, thus saith the Lord concerning the wars that will shortly come to pass, beginning at the rebellion of South Carolina, which will eventually terminate in the death and misery of many souls;
And the time will come that war will be poured out upon all the nations, Beginning at this place. For behold, the Southern States shall be divided against the northern States, and the Southern
States will call on other nations, even the nation of Great Britain, as it is called, and they shall also call upon other nations; and then war shall be poured out upon all nations."
(Doctrine and Covenants 87:1-3)
August 2, 1833:
"And the nations of the earth shall honor her, and shall say: Surely Zion is the city of our God, and surely Zion cannot fall, neither be moved out of her place, for God is there, and the hand of the Lord
is there."
(Doctrine and Covenants 97:19)
Two weeks prior to this prophecy (July 20, 1833) Zion was moved and leading LDS officials were run out of town. Joseph Smith was away in Kirtland, Ohio and unaware of this when he gave this revelation.
April 23, 1834:
"Verily I say unto you, my friends, I give unto you counsel, and a commandment, concerning all the properties which belong to the order which I commanded to be organized and established, to be a
united order, and an everlasting order for the benefit of my church, and for the salvation of my men
until I come."
(Doctrine and Covenants 104:1)
The United order of Mormonism has ceased to exist.
August 6, 1836
"And it shall come to pass in due time that I will give this city into your hands, that you shall have power over it, inasmuch that they shall not discover your secret parts; and its wealth pertaining to gold and silver shall be yours."
(Doctrine and Covenants 111:4)
There is no record of the city or its wealth being given to Smith who died 8 years later.
"And now I am prepared to say by the authority of Jesus Christ, that not many years shall pass away before the United States shall present such a scene of bloodshed as has not a parallel in the
history of our nation; pestilence, hail, famine, and earthquake will sweep the wicked of this generation from off the face of the land, to open and prepare the way for the return of the lost tribes of Israel
from the north country. The people of the Lord, those who have complied with the requirements of the new covenant, have already commenced gathering together to Zion, which is in the State of Missouri; therefore I declare unto you the warning which the Lord has commanded me to declare unto this generation, remembering that the eyes of my Maker are upon me, and that to Him I am accountable for every word I say, wishing nothing worse to my fellow-men than their eternal salvation; therefore, Fear God, and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment is come.’ Repent ye, repent ye, and embrace the everlasting covenant, and flee to Zion, before the overflowing scourge overtake you, for there are those now living upon the earth whose eyes shall not be closed in death until they see all these things, which I have spoken, fulfilled. Remember these things; call upon the Lord while He is near, and seek Him while He may be found, is the exhortation of your unworthy servant."

"I prophesy in the name of the Lord God of Israel, unless the United States redress the wrongs committed upon the Saints in the state of Missouri and punish the crimes committed by her officers that in a few years the government will be utterly overthrown and wasted, and there will not be so much as a potsherd left.."
(Teachings of The Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 302)
History records no redress.
"Therefore, let my servant Joseph and his seed after him have a place in that house, from generation to generation, forever and ever, saith the Lord. And let the name of that house be called Nauvoo House; and let it be a delightful habitation for man, and a restingplace for the weary traveler, that he may contemplate the glory of Zion, and the glory of this, the corner-stone thereof.
(Doctrine and Covenants 124:59-60)
Joseph Smith was killed in 1844. The Mormons were driven from Nauvoo and the house no longer belonged to the Smith family.
Mormon Doctrine Says:
Joseph Smith Was A Prophet Of God
"In the spring of 1820, when the hour had come for the opening of the final gospel dispensation, young Joseph, then 14 1/2 years of age beheld in glory the Father ond the Son. Thereafter Moroni visited him; he received, translated, and published the ancient Nephite record; other messagengers came bringing keys, power, priesthood, and authority; revelations in great number were shown upon him; and by the Lord Omnipotent he organized again on earth God's literal kingdom, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."

"Mormonism, as it is called, must stand or fall on the story of Joseph Smith. He was either a prophet of God, divinely called, properly appointed and commissioned, or he was one of the biggest frauds this world has ever seen. There is no middle ground.
If Joseph Smith was a deceiver, who wilfully attempted to mislead the people then he should be exposed; his claims should be refuted, and his doctrines shown to be false, for the doctrines of an imposter cannot be made to harmonize in all particulars with divine truth. If his claims and declarations were built upon fraud and deceit, there would appear many errors and contradictions, which would be easy to detect. The doctrines of false teachers will not stand the test when tried by accepted standards of measurement, the scritures."

Think About IT!!!:
I would like to leave you with this thought. Only one is right,the Christ or Joseph Smith. The Bible has been here for centuries, the LDS Church for 150 years, and if Joseph Smith is right I have nothing to fear because I have put all my trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and what he has already done for me on Calvary, paying the price for my sins that I could never pay. I will still go to be with Him in heaven, BUT if I am right and you have been lead astray, then you have a big problem, as the Bible says,
"But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other that the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satin himself masquerades as an angel of light."
