6. RASAC Scholarship. It’s that time of the year again when we offer a RASAC Scholarship. The scholarship fund, which has been supporting the athletic educational needs of young athletes since 1977 gives $250.00 each school year to a member of RASAC, attending college. To be eligible, the student must be a current club member. Financial need is a consideration in selecting the winner of this award. The RASAC Scholarship fund is supported by donations from the RASAC membership and the RASAC charity 5k race which is held in December each year. A letter should be written to RASAC outlining the request for the scholarship and a brief summary of the student’s activities and future plans.

7. USA Track and Field (USAT&F) Long Distance Running Official Training. The USAT&F will be conducting Long Distance Running Official Training in the Baltimore area after 30 September, 2004.
