Tudo começou em setembro de 1995, quando o Fluminense atravessava uma excelente fase no campeonato brasileiro, motivando muitos de seus torcedores cariocas à viajar para assistir o jogo decisivo do primeiro turno no Mineirão, em Belo Horizonte, contra o Atlético-MG. O grupo começou a ser formado por torcedores de São Conrado e Laranjeiras, mas pessoas de toda a cidade foram se juntando. Até que no dia 3 de outubro, véspera da partida, a lotação era esgotada! Erick, Roberto, Alexis, Fernando, Jorge, Kadu, Alexandre, Guga, Beth, Rafaela, Pedro, Julio, Denise, Marquinho, eu e muitos outros colocamos o pé na estrada. A viagem foi marcada pelo triunfo tricolor, que conseguiu o título do primeiro turno com um empate de 0x0, classificando-se assim para a semifinal. Mais 7 outros ônibus se juntaram ao nosso nessa caravana, deixando a torcida em bom número no estádio. It all began in September, 1995, when Fluminense was taking the lead at the Brazilian National League and their supporters from Rio de Janeiro were motivated to plan a travel to see that gripping team play. The first round final match would be against Atlético-MG, in Belo Horizonte. The arrengements started at the University where I study( Fluminense fans are the majority there ), and people from all the city joined us. The trip was remarkable because of Fluminense's triumph and the creation of an organized group of fans: FLU VENTURA, a name that would remind everyone of adventure, strenght and joy! There were 7 other buses with us at the stadium, and we were in good number. - PHIL GUS
