My Shrine to Reed Diamond!

Hi. I have not updated this in awhile, because I upgraded my operating system, and had to download FrontPage Express. So it has been a hassle. But I finally did it! Woohoo! So, I plan to update this page more often, at least once a week, and if you have any info on Reed, or any pictures, please send them to me, and I will publish it here, and give you full credit.

This web site is dedicated to Reed Diamond, better known as Detective Mike Kellerman on "Homicide: Life on the Street." Reed, who once considered a career on the force, was born on July 20,1967 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He then went on to study acting at Julliard, as did his HLOTS co-star, Andre Braugher. Reed was a freshman at Julliard when his future HLOTS co-star Braugher was a senior. They had previously appeard onstage together for Julliard production of "Othello", with Andre as Iago and Reed as a servant.

Reed is divorced from Frederika Kesten, who co-starred with him in HLOTS episode # 48, "Justice, Part two." She played Janine, the ballistics expert. Reed's current love interest is Michelle Forbes, better known as Dr. Julianna Cox, also formerly of HLOTS

Reed 's character Mike Kellerman was origianally supposed to be called Mike Driscoll. The producers didn't change the last name to Kellerman until just before shooting began.
