This is one security cam being set up as an example of local home owners recording foot/vehicle traffic
in our neighborhood. Contact the patrol if you would like to add a cam in your area- it is free
to INSTALL and STREAM! You can set up more than one, and you can view your street/house from anywhere online!

On this home page, we'll introduce our
business and highlight important areas on our site.
Please look over the site and give us your feedback; this program is for all of us, and everyone has a right
to give input on how it should be operated!
If nothing else, please look at the Google Maps and zoom in on your neighborhood- see where there have been
burglaries and worse, so you are aware of how much crime is taking place near you! You can be placed on our email list of
new crimes so they will come to your inbox if you desire.
Note: The audio you hear is either WPD or AST streaming with the video above from my
scanner. I am working to make it clearer. There are some videos and audio clips on the Patrol Video Page for your
enjoyment!

Wasilla has been the largest growing community in Alaska for the last three years, and there is no reason to expect it
to slow down. We also have a higher property crime rate index then Anchorage! Because of this, there is a constantly
growing need to place more eyes and ears in the community to protect all of us. The police department can only do so
much, and that is where the citizens have the ability to take steps to protect our community. That is why we feel it
is necessary to implement what has been found to be effective all over the United States- a Community Patrol program.
In order to make the program financially operational, we are working on getting a license as a Not-For-Profit company,
which will allow us to request donations that are tax deductible. This way you can feel good about making a donation
to the community, and you can claim it as a deduction on your taxes; making it FREE to support! We would like
to be able to offer a quality service to everyone that would like it, and make it affordable. To do this we will ask
for donations of up to $25 that will be used to purchase equipment, fuel for the patrols, and management of the program.

of what we can do for you, if you need individual attention, it is available!

09/15/08- UPDATE, this group is based out of Kenai and they are now selling meat out of a van/truck-
please report any contact with these persons to the patrol!!
08/28/08- Troopers state that Burglaries in the Valley are an "Epidemic"- help us to protect you! Email the patrol
below! Also- A white van with juveniles and no markings has been reported soliciting for carpet cleaning in the valley
and may be connected to burglaries- if you see it, get the plate and description of the occupants!
