Mikonos - Our first island stop

The wind was blowing so hard we had to be ferried by tenders to the port of Tourlos, then taken by bus to Mykonos. Mykonos has whitewashed narrow streetsbordered by bright white washed cubic houses and many small shops. According to mythology, the island took its name from the hero Mykonos, grandson of the God Apollo. Off the southwest coast lies the island of Delos, birthplace of Apollo.
