Itinerary for 16 days in South Africa

Day 1- Flight- Overnight flight->Soar across the Atlanitc in the wide-bodied jet of a leading airline.
Day 2-Johannesburg-Arrival in Johannesburg-Touch down in Johannesburg! After clearing customs, meet your professional full-time guide, who will remain with us for the entire stay. Orientation TourVisit the Randburg Waterfront, one of the city's major open-air markets. As we view the cultural and historical highlights of South Africa's largest city, bear in mind that underneath the city's streets lies an extensive network of gold mines!
Day 3-Johannesburg->Tshukudu Game Lodge-Travel into the heart of the Transvaal region, distinguished by its rolling hills and valleys. We'll pass through Lydenburg, an early settler's homestead. We soon arrive at Tshukudu Game Lodge, where we will spend two noghts. We will set out on our first South African game drive and begin our search for the "Big Five" of African Safaris: Elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos, and leopards.
Day 4- Tshukudu Game Lodge-Game drive for the Big Five!!! plus hippos, cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, and MORE!
Day 5 - Tshukudu Game Lodge -> Kruger National Park- Another game drive then onto Kruger National park, at the northeast tip of South Africa.Kruger National Park We will go on another game here at the best-managed wildlife park in the entire African continent. It is home to over 140 species of animals. The Big Five plus many more!


More Itinerary!!!

Day 6 - Swaziland - Leaving Kruger National Park by the Malelane Gate , we'll travel south and cross the border into Swaziland, the "Switzerland of Africa". Nestled into the mountains, it has spectacular scenery!
Day 7 - Zulu Kraal - We return to South Africa, transfering to a Zulu Kraal for the night.
Day 8 - Durban - After learning more about the Zulu culture and traditions during a Zulu performance, we then continue on to Durban, a coastal city that British colonists founded.
Day 9 - Port Elizabeth After a free day in Durban, we fly onto Port Elizabeth, hub of the Eastern Cape region with many beautiful sites to see...parks, gardens, homes, etc.
Day 10 - Knysna- We travel the Garden Route to Knysna, a seaside resort, rapidly becoming a popular vacation spot.
Day 11 - Knysna Free time !!! Horseback riding, swimming, sailing, fishing, etc.!!!


Day 12 to Day 16 Itinerary

Day 12 - Oudtshoorn - We will visit vast desert landscapes and visit an ostrich farm in Little Karoo and even watch an ostrich Race!
Day 13 - Cape Town - Travel through the Swartberg Mts to cape Town, the cultural center and legislative capital of South Africa. South Africa has three capitals-one for each branch of government.
Day 14 - Cape Town - Guided sightseeing tour of Cape Town, then on to the Cape of Good Hope, where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet.
Day 15-16 - HOME! We arrive home on Day 16!!!!
