Around the House With Moaner - February and March 2000

New patio tiles, next is the pooldeck! AMan and I went through quite a few beers to accomplish this tile job. Hey we actually got all the arrows pointing the right way!

The front garden was a weed bed until I had a play with it.
I'm still battling the clover. I think a fountain is next or a koi pond?

More purpley flowers! If I ever show you the interior of the house, you will see that purple is my favorite color. These will put a twitch in your purple petunia!

One of my azalea bushes finally bloomed. You should see the large picture of this, even more amazing!

Lemon tree very pretty, lalala...how does that song go? Anyway, lemons anyone? As you can see, I still have tons! and more to come, as the tree blossomed again!

Lemon blossoms smell so sweet. I hope the tree branches don't break from all the lemons that will come!

AMan's home away from home! Favorite pasttime - fishing! The jetty at Casey Key is always an interesting place just to be - so serene and full of wildlife. It is here we see dolphin, manatee and yes, even the occasional swimming in the surf GATOR! Of course, all sorts of fish are seen (even tarpon, cobia, permit, pompano, among others). Lately the catches of the day have been mackerel, sheepshead, pompano and snapper. A plethora of birds visit as well (mostly pelican, ibis, heron and seagulls).

After a funfilled morning of fishing, the fruits of AMan's labor this time is a sink full of mackerel! Yummy on the grill, with fresh lime on them off our lime tree.

Nap time! Wait a minute! The kitty is hogging the bed again! "IT'S MINE, ALL MINE!" Actually this is the Guest Bedroom. When Mom came to stay with us, Sheba wasn't allowed in there for the duration of her visit. As soon as Mom left, this is what Sheba did. So if you come for a visit, rest assured Sheba will have her way in YOUR BED!
