AOL AND WEBTV EMAIL HELP

I am quoting a little from a book which is mentioned within the contents of this website named Rough Guides this section is titled"Playing with text."Standard HTML ignores multiple spaces, tabs, and carriage returns, to get around that you can enclose text Hellothis is what is called a (Preformatted Text) tag pair, otherwise, any consective spaces, tabs, carriage returns, or combinations will produce a single space. However, it's more conventional to end paragraphs with
which creates a single line break. To create Multiple line breaks use
. One
will start the text on a new line, two will create a line break, three will create two line breaks, and so on.

Browsers automatically wrap text so there's no need to worry about page widths. To center text use these tags:

which would display like

TEXT GOES HERE!
text goes here! If you wish to underscore a word, sentence these are your tags to use here is a example like so:

There are three simple, but effective, ways to emphasize text is to use bold. These are the tags when placed between these this effect displays like this bold text or like WHAT IS NEW WITH YOU?
Using italic (note this can become hard to read on the web) or colored or enlarged type. In regards to italicize, use these tags like What do you think? or like so: We live from day to day.

To change color or size, use <FONT COLOR="BLACK"SIZE="4"> or whatever colour will display like so:(This is just one of the many colours)

IMAGES (.GIF,.JPG).

The easy way to display an image is to place the image within the tags you can insert any specifications within this tag all measurements are in pixels, here is just one of the many ways you can enjoy working with html: would set the dimensions of your image .gif to 300 high by 400 wide, align its top with the tallest item in the line from the text by 60 vertically and 70 horizontally!

Try these by placing anyone of these inside your img tags:

Align=baseline
Aligns the bottom of image with the baseline of the current line.

Align=absmiddle
Aligns the middle of text with the middle of image.

Align=right
Aligns image with left margin. Text wraps on right.

Align=left
Aligns image with right margin. Text wraps on left.

Align=texttop
Aligns top of image with the tallest text in line.

Align=middle
Aligns the baseline of text with the middle of image.

Align=bottom
Aligns the bottom of image with the bottom of the current line.

Bye!!!
