The Langley Can Am weekend drew thirty one US riders, and 16 new full members. Although a lot of the good island racers didnt attend, the below list shows how well the racers that did attend finished. These are the results from the Sunday race for life which drew 121 riders from BC, Washington, and Idaho. August 16, 1998 Moto 5 17-20 cruiser Mark Whitney took first place out four riders. Moto 7 41-45 cruiser Ken Williams took first place out of six riders. Moto 13 8 expert Andrew Petersen took First place, Robin Ellis second and Brandon Little third out of four riders. Moto 17 10 expert Allan Ross took second place out of four riders Moto 22 13 novice Devon Giles took seventh out of seven riders Moto 23 14 intermediate Kyle Michell took first place out of four riders Moto 24 14 expert Dylan Suvages took third place out of four riders Moto 25 15 novice Ryan Giles took second place out of three riders Moto 26 15 intermediate Brad Johnson took sixth place out of six riders Moto 27 16 intermediate Brett Davidson took second place out of four riders Moto 28 19-27 expert Mark Whitney took first, Alfred Dick took third, and James Williams took fourth place out of six riders.
