In the name of God, Amen, I Daniel Tredway of Harford County
in the State of Maryland being in good health and perfect sound
mind and memory thanks be given to Almighty God, therefore but
calling to mind the uncertainty of this state of life do for the
better setling of my worldly Estate and constitute and appoint
this present writing my last will ant testament and dispose of my
temporal goods in manner and for following:
Item: I give and bequeath unto my two sons Crispen and John
Tredway all that tract of land call'd Hounslow Heath that I now
posses to them and their heirs forever. Also I give and
bequeath to my son Crispen one bay horse called Ball and I also
give and bequeath to my son John Tredway one sorrel horse called
Jack. Also I give and bequeath to my two sons Crispen and
John Tredway my waggon and harness thereunto belonging and no more
to them and their heirs for ever.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my daughter Sarah Tredway all
that part of a tract of land whereon I now live call'd Tredways
Hope also three acres and two perches it being a part of a tract
of land call'd Meades Delight begining and running according to
the conveyance thereof and if it should be the case that she
should die without lawfull heirs or issue then the same land above
mention'd for to be equally divided between my surving children.
Also I give unto my daughter Sarah Tredway one breeding sow and no
more to her and her heirs for ever.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Thomas Tredway all my
wearing aparel and one dollar and no more.
Item: I give and bequeath unto my son Daniel Tredway one
dollar and no more to him and his heirs for ever.
Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Ann Hughes five
pounds and no more to her and her heirs for ever.
My will and mind is
that after my just debts and legacies are paid then the remainder
part of my Estate shall be equally divided amongst my four
children that is to say Edward Tredway, Hannah Meads, Susanna
Riston and Elizabeth Miles. Lastly I appoint my son Crispen
Tredway and my daughter Sarah Tredway my whole and sole Executor
of this my last will and testament in witness hereof I have set my
hand and affixed my seal this Ninth day of March One Thousand
Eighteen Hundred and Three.

Sealed and acknowledged by Daniel Tredway to be his last Will and
Testament and by his request we assigned as evidences:

Harford County Sct. the 26th day of Jun 1810 then came Crispen
Tredway the Executor herein named who produced this instrument of
writning and made oath on the holy evangels of almighty God that
it is the true and whole last Will and Testament of Daniel Tredway
late of Harford County deceased that came to his possession or
knowlege and that he found the same in a trunk amongst the papers
of the said dec'd.
