Welcome to the Frame Genealogy Web.  The intent of this Website is to try and pull all the Frame families together into their perspective lines within the United States.

There were several Frame families living on the Eastern Coast of the United States in which most of us have descended. There was a James Frame born 1687, said of Hownam, Roxburghshire, Scotland. He came to Chester Co., Pennsylvania, then to Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, and finally to Augusta Co., Virginia.  Jeremiah Frame of Co. Armagh, Northern Ireland had 2 sons; John and William Frame from Pennsylvania to Augusta Co., Virginia (Note this line was originally believed to be James Frame of Lanarkshire, Scotlands sons.   There was also a James Frame born 1729  from Lanrkshire, Scotland. He came to Chester Co., Pennsylvania, and then later to Fayette Co., Pennsylvania. A Robert Frame said to hail from England who made his home in Sussex Co., Delaware. And there was a David Frame b: ca 1730 that was listed in the Lancaster Co., and Chester Co., Pennsylvania records.
