Flying Eagle Ranch is located seven miles west of Glacier National Park, along the wild and scenic Middle Fork of the Flathead River. Our wilderness fishing and photography pack trips and trail rides, are all great western adventures to choose from. If a camping experience is desired, we have heated wall tents that will sleep six people comfortably.

The Flathead Valley offers a multitude of recreational and social activities for everyone. Information will be provided upon request to help you plan a well - rounded vacation. We would be pleased to share with you the true hospitality of Montana's "Big Sky Country".

Early and Late Combination

Elk, Deer, and Black Bear Hunts For the serious trophy hunter, we provide 7 and 10 day hunting trips. We provide transportation to and from the airport on all of our guided hunts. All you need to bring is your rifle, sleeping bag, hunting license, personal clothing and gear.

Drop Camps All drop camps are pack in camps. We provide transportation from the trail head via experienced mountain horses.

Frequent checks ensure your downed game of being moved quickly. We provide tent, lanterns, Coleman stove, heating stove, cooking utensils, axe, shovel, and cots with foam pads.

Spring Bear Hunts One of the best times to hunt bear is in the spring. The spring bear hunts are open from April 15 through May 31.

Archery Combination Elk & Deer Hunt Enjoy the early hunt with the elk piercing the fall air with their high pitched bugle. We hunt several ways including stand hunting from the tree stands and blinds and slow hunt bugling from time to time to locate elk.

Mule Deer Hunts Hunt trophy mule deer. Come join us on a truly magnificent Montana mule deer hunt. In the early hunts we hunt the high brush covered terrain for those majestic monarchs of the high wind swept slopes. In early November, the mule deer begin to rut and come down from the mountain top retreats.
