Other than the elephant one of my favorite animals is the giraffe. The males can get up to 18 feet tall, making giraffes the tallest land animal in the world. Did you know that the giraffe only sleeps about 3 minutes at a time? It's so tall it can't risk going to sleep for long periods of time because of all the predators. Neat huh?
