Being a fan of Reba McEntire is truly awesome. I have met so many neat people who share the same love of Reba McEntire. It is like having a whole new family. I love my little family of fellow Reba fans! As a tribute to the many great people I've met I'd like to dedicate this part of my Reba website to them! Here's to you all! Reba has affected so many of us in so many different ways. So I thought this would be a good way to share them with each other. To get the ball rolling, I will tell you all a little about myself. I am 29 years old. I am from Kansas. I became a fan of Reba in 1989, when a friend let me listen to her "Live" album. It wasn't until 1991 that I became truly hooked on Reba. I was flipping trough the TV channels one afternoon, and hit the Oprah show. Reba was on it and she was talking about the plane crash. I listened and became totally moved by how honest and open she was. She was so strong ,though I knew inside she must be dying. Then she sang. I watched and then I started crying. She touched me so deeply that day. I have been hooked ever since. I have seen her once in concert and plan on going many more times. In 1994 I met Mary Durlin. I met her in the Reba Chat room on WBS one night. We started to talking and found that we are both diehard Reba fans. We also found that we had much more in common. But the really special thing that happened is that we connected that night. We touched each other very deeply and we have been inseparable ever since. At least online that is. LOL! This past spring I had the opportunity to meet her in person and found that she was ever bit as wonderful as she is online. Even better we actually got to give each other a real hug. We both plan on seeing Reba in concert together this summer and spending some quality time together. I feel that Mary and I will be lifelong friends. There is something honestly awesome about Reba fans. There is no one else like them! Here is a pic of Mary! Lena I read RebaGal's story on this page, and it hit close to home. I too have met a wonderful friend in the old Reba chat room... I haven't been fortunate to meet her in person yet, but hope to do that in the future! I am 33 years old, and the first time I saw Reba was on an awards show, and I was touched by her emotions, and I had Goosebumps when she dedicated the award to her Mom, saying that she was living her Moms dream through her! Reba, thank you so much for having a fun chat room on your website! It has changed our lives! Crisco Criso is a young man I met on WBS and he is a good friend I chat with still. He is a fan of country music and lives in Tennessee now. He has a wonderful sense of humor and can always help me find a smile when I need it. I am very lucky to have met Crisco. He is a good friend. I have been married for 11 years, no children of my own yet but I am raising my 14 year old brother. I have been a waitress for the past 7 1/2 years (8 in April) for Pizza Hut. I enjoy collecting anything with Reba and have been to two of her concerts. I have met great people on Rebamaniacs and through the chat room. I am hoping to meet more of the Rebamaniacs soon.
