LaCrosse boots are built so well that they can largely take care of themselves, but you can prolong their life with a few simple care tips.
RUBBER: Treat boot regularly with LaCrosse Rubber Conditioner. Dry them thoroughly after use and clean with mild soap and water when needed.
LEATHER: Apply LaCrosse Leather Cleaner and Conditioner to sponge or soft rag. Wipe into an area thoroughly and evenly. With a new cloth, wipe away excess moisture and dirt. Apply LaCrosse Water Stain Repellent for protection.
SUEDE AND NUBUC: Use no water. Apply a small amount of LaCrosse Leather Cleaner and Conditioner to a clean, dry brush. Scrub boot thoroughly and evenly. Let dry for 24 hours. Back brush with nylon bristle brush.
CORDURA: Clean with a damp cloth using mild soap and water to remove dirt, mud and salt stains. Follow the leather care guidelines for leather trimmed Cordura boots.
NEOPRENE: Clean waders with mild soap or detergent, using a soft bristle brush to remove mud and debris. Rinse with water. After cleaning and after use, hang waders and allow to dry thoroughly. Turn inside-out to ensure complete drying. This will also prevent odor buildup. When storing for extended period, hang in a dry, dark place. Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight may contribute to drying out and stiffening of materials.
