A session lasts approximately 20 min. and during that time the client must sit or lie quietly and relax. Soft, soothing music playing is OK but not necessary. It is, however, necessary for the person receiving the healing to remain quiet and uninterrupted by day to day distractions such as the TV or a ringing phone. Many times a client will say to me, "I'm sorry--I fell asleep!". Please understand that falling asleep is OK. The healing will take place regardless of your state of consciousness.
When I perform a distance healing, I sit quietly as if in meditation and have soft music playing that seems to facilitate the healing energies. I begin with an opening prayer to ask that only the highest and best interest of the client be served. I invoke the white light of the Highest and ask that Spirit guide me throughout the healing and also ask that healers from the spirit side of life assist me with the session. Most often I am assisted by 2 or more healers in spirit and clients often perceive more than one pair of hands during the healing.
After centering myself and the opening prayer, I enter into a state of relaxation and I begin to visualize myself standing behind the client. Normally I see the client as sitting upright on a chair or small stool. I concentrate on the person's first name and use this to make the connection. I do not need to know where you live in order for the healing to be effective. The amount of physical distance between the client and myself does not seem to matter.
The following part of the session is similar in every healing yet different with each one I perform. This is the time I notice the other spirit healers present. I ask that Spirit lead me in the healing and trust that what is done is for the client's highest and best. During this period of the healing there seems to be no discernable time. The client is sitting one moment and in the next moment they are lying on a table. I have also experienced the client floating before myself and the spirit healers. It seems that whatever is needed for the healing to be effective is given instantly.
During the above portion of the the healing I have experienced many different factors. There are times when I can hear conversation between myself, the spirit healers and the client and there are times when all is silent. At times I can feel my hands in different areas of the client's body and there are times when my hands seem to pass through the body. Each time is a little different yet wonderful. Let me say again that whatever is needed for the healing to be effective is given and I trust that I am guided and assisted by Spirit for the client's highest and best interest.
Once I see myself and the client body I visualize the white light of the Highest entering my body through the crown chakra (top of the head) and filling my body with light. I begin each healing by placing my hands on the client's shoulders and making a connection between our energy systems. I do this be opening my heart chakra and reaching out with love.
Nearing the completiion of the healing the client is shown to me again on a chair. I prepare the crown chakra and invite the white light of the Highest to enter into the client. At this time a most beautiful, brilliant, liquid light begins to flow into the client's body and starts to fill it from the feet on up. It flows like water and as the body fills it is most wonderous to observe. The light continues untill it reaches it's point of entry at the top of the head and at this point the body is no longer physical. It is a being of light that is shaped like a body.
The light then cascades out from the crown like a waterfall and flows down to the floor encircling the body. When it reaches the floor it then travels upward again completing it's cycle where it began at the crown. The body of light is now encased in a beautiful globe of shimmering, liquid, protective light. I place my hands at the crown and ask that this being continue to feel the love, protection and support of the light throughtout it's journey.
I then sing the angel song for this light being. (Those of you who know me, know this song well) It is a lullabye which invokes the presence of the archangels. This is the end of the healing session. I take the "hands" of the light being, hold them to my heart and close with a prayer of thanks.
There is no set fee for my healing sessions. Clients have paid $5.00 for a healing and they have paid $200.00. Some have traded services and some have even paid in chocolate chip cookies.
Whatever you feel is appropiate and within your ability is acceptable. Cost should not be an issue that prevents you from feeling the warmth and support that a spiritual healing can provide.
