For the Cake
1 1/2 Cup sugar
2 cup Wesson Oil
2 Eggs
2 oz. red food coloring
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 cup plain Flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 teaspoon vinegar
For the Icing:
1 stick oleo
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 cup chopped pecans
1 box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

for the Cake:
Mix sugar and oil. Add eggs, vanilla and red food coloring
Mix flour, cocoa, salt and soda. Add milk and vinegar
alternately with flour mixture to oil mixture. Mix Well
Bake at 350 degrees until done (about 25-35 minutes)
Makes 3 layers
for the icing:
Mix oleo, cream sheese, sugar and vanilla togather.
Add pecans and spread on cake.
