This is our version on the Tyree Family….
John Logan Tyree and wife Marcie Roberta Scott Tyree owned a picture framing shop in Lynchburg VA.  John and Marcie's marriage was arranged by their families.  Sometime before 1915, Maggie Spencer Hundley went to work for the Tyree's.  Maggie and John had an affair; Marcie refused to divorce John, so John and Maggie left VA, changed their names to John Terrell Williams and Margaret S. Hundley.  They went to MO, married and had 4 daughter's.  They remained in St. Joseph MO until they took their family and moved to San Diego CA, (in  Nov. 1920) Margaret became ill and died in San Diego CA on May 13, 1922.  After Margaret's death John moved his daughter's back to St. Joseph Mo.  John was unable to care for the children and so he put them in an orphanage.  John answered an ad in a newspaper, where a woman from Golden CO was looking for a husband;  her name was Elizabeth Burkhart.  John went to Golden CO and married the woman.  They returned to St. Joseph and retrieved the girls.  John remained in St. Joseph.  After his four daughter's were grown, John divorced Elizabeth.  John lived with his youngest daughter and her husband.  They moved to CA.  John died in San Bernardino CA.
