My mother's mother's mother was a very small person, probably no taller than 4'8" and usually around 75 pounds. Her doctor wanted her to drink beer and goat's milk to gain weight. A member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union, she wouldn't drink the beer, but did keep a goat.
