This picture was generously provided by cousin
Robert E Lee, Jr of California when he visited Pickens Co,
Alabama in 1980 . In his words :

(This is) "a picture of the house where John Jackson Lee died in
1892-the old Doss house (belonged to his daughter, Malissa and her
 husband). I took the picture in Aug., 1980 and the house collapsed 
in a snow storm three months later." 

John Jackson Lee's son Joe Albert Lee was my great-grandfather.
