William Allen Slaughter and Mary Susan Mathis were my mother's mother's
father's mother's parents, or in other words, my great-great-great
grandparents. The two lower pictures are simply zoomed-in versions
of the top one. They were the parents of the subjects of two
of the other pictures in my gallery, Rebecca Frances Slaughter,
my great-great grandmother, and Dr Tom Slaughter .
