Special Info:HUGE Dallas Cowboys fan, also likes baseball, golf, Tex-Mex food. Studied physical therapy in college. His father and grandfather started the first radio station in Humble, and David hung around it all the time as a kid. In fact, his father played in a garage band with Rodney Crowell. The first appearance in public as a solo singer occured at age 9, in church. As a teen, he entered every talent contest he could find and by age 20, David was playing the Texas honky tonk circuit; his band was Emotions. (He still worked day jobs: laying concrete, installing floors, cleaning out raw sewage pipes-ugh!) He auditioned for a role in a Steven Segal movie, but lost the part to Mark Collie. In college at Southwest Texas State University, he studied physical therapy and volunteered at a nursing home. He's an avid outdoorsman.
