Rules of Conduct within the Pembroke Elysium

Elysium is an area designated as a safeground for all members to meet and socialize.

The duties and responsibilities of the Keeper, are to maintain order within the Elysium, as well as to enforce the edicts of Elysium (within Elysium grounds).

The duties and responsibilities of the Sheriff, are to maintain the order (outside the Elysium) and to discipline those that break the rules and edicts of Elysium.

THE RULES OF ELYSIUM ARE AS FOLLOWS:

1. No violence is to be commited in the grounds of Elysium, except that in the case of self-defence.

2. Use of Force: no more force than is absolutely necessary is to be employed in the act of self-defence.

3. Weapons are not permitted within the Elysium, with the exception of the Prince and Sheriff.

4. The Keeper has the right to employ a body of persons, of his/her choice, to assist in enforcing Elysium.

5. No effort shall be made to invoke violence in another within Elysium.

6. All members shall conduct themselves as though they were in the public eye while in Elysium.

7. All members in good standing (higher status than you), shall be granted the respect due to their station or position, while within Elysium.

Violations of the Edicts will result in punishment based on the severity of the offence, the circumstances involved in the offence, and the standing of the offender.

Punishment may include, but are not restricted to, one or more of the following:

1. Removal of good standing (status) in the Elysium.

2. Restriction of access to the Elysium for a set period of time.

3. Restriction of movement within Elysium for a set period of time.

4. And in the most serious of offences possible death.

All members of the Elysium have the right to petition the Keeper and then the Prince in regards to decisions made by the Keeper.
