The Rose Garden of Pir O Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan

Toward the One,
the perfection of Love, Harmony and Beauty,
the Only Being, United with all the Illuminated Souls,
who form the embodiment of the Master, the Spirit of Guidance

The Rose Garden "Just as the rose consists of many petals held together, so the person who attains to the unfoldment of the soul begins to show many different qualities. The qualities emit fragrance in the form of a spiritual personality. The rose has a beautiful structure, and the personality which proves the unfoldment of the soul has also a fine structure, in manner, in dealing with others, in speech, in action. The atmosphere of a spiritual being pervades the air like the perfume of a rose."
From The Sufi Message of Hazrat Inayat Khan Volume X

Pir O Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan: In his studies as an initiate in one of the ancient Sufi orders, Pir O Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan recognised the basic love and wisdom through which humanity may realise the purpose of life.
He saw these two principles as enshrined in the ideals of all religions. He held that by honouring all, and respecting their differences, a basis for mutual understanding could be reached which would not be possible by seeking to convert one to the views of another. In pursuance of this vision he came to the West, and taught in Europe and America until 1926, when, shortly before his passing, he returned to India, where his revered tomb (Dargha) is in Delhi.

Pir O Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan called his teaching the Sufi Message, and to propagate it, he founded a body called the International Sufi Movement.

The Sufi Movement

The International Sufi Movement expresses the Sufi Message through five activites, the Universal Worship, Brotherhood and Sisterhood, the Esoteric School, Spiritual Healing and Symbology.
