As you can tell from the sign above, The BlackestKnight, aka Jim, and Lady StarShadow, aka Trish, are celebrating their 10th anniversary!! Amazing isn't it?? ~Laugh~ Alot of thought went into the construction of this page and since I, LadySS am the one making the page, it is going to be done my way..~Laugh~ And I'm going to be as mushy and sentimental as I like. ~Sticking my tongue out at the knight~ Oh yes, you are in for it now.. ~LOL~
Well, since this is an anniversary page, let me tell you about us. We met in November of 1987 at a gas station.. I was there because I had the hots for some guy that worked there. No, not Jim.. His best friend. ~L~ It wasn't until I ran into Jim at a bookstore in April of 1988 that he asked me out. Obviously, I said yes. ~L~ Our first real date was April 15, 1988.. I don't remember where we went on our first date.. ~L~ I think we ended up just driving around talking. See the whole time we dated, that happened alot. We would plan on seeing a movie and we would end up sitting in the parking lot talking, never making it to the movie. ~L~ And it's still that way. He is my best friend as well as being my husband. As I sit here doing this page, so many memories come rushing back to me.. I thought making this page would be easy, but it's not.. Not at all.. Him and I have been through so much over the years. How can you sum it up in a page?? We survived being separated many times. We spent our first and second Christmas apart. The first, he was in Germany and I was here in the states. The second, I was in Germany and he was in Saudi Arabia. Then there were all the times we were apart while he was driving a truck.. Too many to count..
Bk has taught alot about love and trust... He is the person I admire the most in this world.. He has never failed to be there for me, or to support me and has always caught me when I began to fall.. Which is quite often.. ~L~ There are days when I think he has more faith in me than I have in myself.. I told him, I wouldn't get mushy, but.. well, what can I say??? I lied!! He's my knight and I love him dearly.. I'm Mrs. BlackestKnight and damn proud of it..
