The Story Board
To fill a schedule for any series we'd need storylines and RR is no exception. Submit your ideas for storylines, or maybe ideas for a 2nd season in general (if they continued with the series) to rover_wow@yahoo.com. Some of the submissions will come from me when I think up good ideas. But before we go the submissions, some rules:
1. No crossovers from other TV series or motion pictures. I never liked them anyway.
2. If a fanfic character takes part, its origination should be part of the storyline.

Main Storyline:
A corrupt NASA official rips off a deflection shield being tested in a space shuttle. He takes over Strategic Air Command, and the Rovers' mission, as usual,  is to stop him. (I ripped this from the first scene of the first "Fan Force", as well as the first "Strayers" story.)
Sub storylines:
Hunter visits his mother this time having him meet Muzzle.
Shag's cleaning up his room.
One possible way to end it:
Blitz, Colleen, Exile and Shag get locked up in a cage somewhat similar to the one in the 1st Fan Force fanfic. However Exile, with help of some heat vision and broom handles (Shag's cleaning up his room) to add length to his reach cross some wires, making the bars warp. It is enough to get Colleen out. She sends a signal (a la "Day in the Life") to get Hunter to the SAC. Blitz finds out that the deflection shield can be shorted out by hosing it down (Ripped from "Strayers"). The official gets in the courts and is sent to jail. If you can figure a better way, email me.

How about emphasizing slightly more on Exile's real super power, the one he was chosen for, his strength. He only used it once in the whole series, in the first episode.

Main Storyline:
Jefferey Otitus from "Reigning Cats and Dogs" teams up with Parvo and Groomer. Using a complex process of logic, they figure out the Rovers' alter egos. (Ripped that from "Superless".) Only Hunter gets dognapped, however as the others are warned. However there's more bad news, as Hunter gets turned into a mutant and they turn him against the Rovers that are left.
Alternative possibilty why only Hunter gets dognapped: Parvo has only enough funds to figure his identity out. (Directly ripped from "Superless".)
Sub Storylines:
A female timberwolf wanders into mission control and gets turned into a sapien, and teams up with the remaining Rovers. (Ripped from the end of the first "Strayers" story.)
One possible way to end it:
What else can this plot resolve with except him (Hunter) being knocked unconcious and turned back into normal form. Parvo also gets knocked down during the fight and Groomer has to carry him on to his ship, and the knockdown makes him unable to remember the identities he had figured out anymore. Contrived? Yes. But it's the only way for this plot point to get thrown away. (That's also ripped from "Superless", BTW!)

Some "guests" from the 1st season ought to return for 1 or 2 eps. like the Space Rovers, Sport, Oso, Confuseus, etc.

Well, maybe not the ever-annoying Sport, but this doesn't affect the rest. Also, Blitz should see some more action, because the only bite he got the entire series was in "A Hair of the Dog that Bit You." Besides he didn't do much.

Having the Rovers do Extra Vehicular Activity (that is, them wearing spacesuits and doing, well, stuff) would be cool. (Addendum: check out my fan art here... loads of spacesuited Rover pics.)

Well, not exactly, but if you've ever seen the "Reigning Cats and Dogs" ep you've probably noticed that Parvo and Groomer are just stuck in one big time loop. (The General turned into a cat, got sent back in time, got turned back into Parvo, was rechristened as such by Groomer who'd went back, and so on.) Personally, the writers should have avoided this. The matter of how they could have is a bit more tricky, but I think I have a workaround: How about the General helping Jeffrey find the cat that he eventually turns into you-know-who? Of course, then we have the trouble of having 2 Generals (more fun for the Rovers to fight perhaps?), not to mention finding a Groomer. Anyways, the rest of the plot would be, for most purposes, practically unaffected with this workaround (with one of the Generals "going back" after they do their stuff). Result: a much less noticeable (and much less nitpick-able) time loop.

"Is breaking up that hard to do?": The Road Rovers are on vacation in Louisiana when they are suddenly exposed to a strange form of swamp gas. This swamp gas is the product of a biochemical experiment gone wrong. The one behind the chemical experiment is a mad perfume designer, Charles "Cookie" Camel, who wants to find a special flower whose perfume will cause any female to fall in love with him, as well as granting him immortality. Unfortunately, Colleen gets exposed to the swamp gas and becomes attracted to Blitz. Blitz tries fending her off, as well as trying to avoid Hunter's anger at him for this turn of events. The Road Rovers have to try and get over their emotional hangups over the situation long enough to get the antidote, which is hidden in Charles "Cookie" Camel's secret hideout, a fortified motor driven houseboat in the center of the swamplands of Louisiana. Complications ensue when Charles "Cookie" Camel convinces both the lovestruck Colleen and the despondent Blitz to help him keep the rest of the other Road Rovers away from him long enough to find the flower.

A new recruit is added to the Road Rovers, who is Hunter's sister (hang on... wasn't this the part of the premise behind "Blue Team"? - Rover_Wow). She takes a shine to Blitz, much to the chagrin of Hunter. Hunter gets so wrapped up in trying to get his sister away from Blitz, he does not notice that there is another recruit, a male named Dante, who is putting the moves on Colleen. The other Rovers are placing bets as to when Blitz will get clobbered by Colleen, and have placed special cameras in the room of the hotel that he plans on going to with Colleen, the tickets to which were given to him by the Rovers. He is being a true gentleman and is treating her better than she has ever been treated. She is flattered by this treatment. He is a actually an evil dog, a spy who works for Ross Dole, who is using the hotel as a base, and wants to take over the Rovers by causing them to start fighting each other and giving their secrets to his boss. He is exposed by Blitz who confronts him when he tries to get Colleen to become intimate at their hotel, a hotel that has been bugged with secret hidden videocameras by Ross Dole, and she rebuffs him. Dante tries to shoot them both, with the backup of Beast and Research. Blitz helps her out by allowing himself to get shot. The Rovers rescue Colleen and Blitz. Colleen ends up getting taken out to dinner and dancing by Blitz, and the rest of the Rovers end up getting beaten up. Hunter ends up getting dumped by Colleen after she hears that he had bet on how long it would take for Blitz to get beaten up by her for having been fresh with her.
Also, Gianluca later suggested using the Steven Today fanfic "Leaps of Faith" as an ep. Hmm...
