Dominica: Roseau

Roseau, near the southern end of the west (Caribbean) coast, is the capital of the Commonwealth of Dominica.

The "city" bustles with market and government activity, and is also the nation's principal seaport.

Cruise ships provide scale, dwarfing the city both is size and population!.

It was a gray, rainy day when we went whale-watching, but rainbows were our reward.
